Introducing jwTabs

Sample Image

It’s no coincidence that I’m slowly releasing a cohesive suite of custom plugins which do everything I need (and would actually use)…and nothing more!

Features

  1. Option to fade between slides
  2. Option to auto-switch between tabs
  3. Super light-weight – about 1000 bytes, packed.
  4. Has everything you’d actually use…and nothing more.
  5. No need to specifiy the number of tabs. This is done automatically for you.

    Hey Jeff,

Thanks for creating this plugin. Im trying to use it a bit differently however. I am seeking a way to apply the plugin to exisiting links instead of having it create new ones when you call the jwTabs(). I’m making a super simple page with just three links and I came across your site and gave the idea to try this, instead of linking to different html pages.

I know your probably quite busy, but if you get a chance, i left the url in the website field so you can see what i mean.

Thanks alot, have a nice one.

Giovanni – So when you click on one of those links, you want it to automatically load the content below – like an AJAX request? Is that what you need? If so, email me the source code, and I’ll set you up. jeffrey@Jeffrey-way.com

    Interesting, thank you.
But it’s pity that all these jquery tabs do not support history (Back button)

hi Jeffrey, cool one as usual.
One question :) how can I use tabs to load separate HTML pages?
I tried tabs with many divs in each tab, but it was quite mess :)
any idea? Or is it good idea to manipulate with main content of page with tabs and jquery effects?
    thx 4 reply.
And many thanks for your great work ;)

Is there a way to change the title of the tab instead of having the default: “1st tab” “2nd tab” etc…

    I really love this plugin!
