Lost
The TV show, Lost, was on the air for around six years. In all that time, I never bothered watching it. When the series finale aired a month ago or so, Twitter exploded; so I finally decided that I needed to figure out what was so loved about this show. I’m now completely hooked, and am finishing up Season 3. Needless to say, this is killing my productivity!
And damn that show for making every episode end with a cliffhanger….that forces me to watch the next one, when I need to be getting things done!
But it’s true: I finally understand why people love this show so much. It’s addictive as hell.
I totally agree with you, but sometimes it’s even better to watch series like that – from the beginning to the end by your own because there are no delays or pauses between series and you can enjoy all the feelings and moods of characters. However, as you already mentioned, my productivity goes down by almost 80% when I am watching some series. And I could suggest you to try Supernatural (5 seasons) – it was an interesting watch too and I could say one of the best myth series out there.
You got hooked =).
Awesome! I started watching Lost a week ago and just can’t get enough of it.
I agree with Richard. Supernatural is the best series ever, but when you’re watching some series, you don’t do so much work.
Cheers,

Hey, guys. I’ll have to check out Supernatural!
So true! My wife and I heard lots about the show but never thought anything of it. But then we got a Xbox360 so we could actually watch Netflix on our TV. Since Lost was in the instant view list and lots of people were talking about it we decided to watch a few episodes… Well, lets just say that we watched about 3 seasons back to back (probably two weeks). We got “sick” of the show after that and only watched a few episodes a week until the end of season 5. Now we are waiting for Season 6 to hit netflix and then we’ll hit that one up. Not a big fan of watching shows like Lost and 24 on TV, I’d much rather have a Lostathon and watch the whole season in a week.
Yeah – same for me and Allie. We’re watching on XBOX Netflix too.
I envy you being able to watch them all fresh from the start again! I only got hooked after S4 had finished airing, so it was very difficult having to wait weekly for each episode thereafter.
I’ll have to check out Supernatural as well… I’ve been far too productive of late!
Hey Jeffrey,
I downloaded all you CodeIgnitor Video Tutorials from NetTutes. Amazing, I am not a professioanl Programmer like you, but i need to be one. After watching your tuts. I have decided to do the Zend Zertification. I hope you will help me for that. Keep up this good work.

Hey there!
Lost is an amazing show however make sure you never watch the last episode =)
Oh I didn’t think it was bad. Sure, a lot of things were left unanswered, but I still liked it.
It brings up the age old debate of what is more important, the journey or the destination. In Lost’s case I believe the journey and characterisation therein is of more import than whether things are answered or no. Many would disagree and that is their choice, different horses…
Regardless enjoy Lost Jeffrey and thanks for the work inspiration as always.
if you liked lost you well like Prison break.
believe me Prison break is the better than lost try to watch it
Will check it out.
We are so much like the same damn person, I would ask, do you want ice cream kaone. We both would say yes-HOW IN THE HA-ELL?!
Seriously though, I just started watching LOST and I’m just finishing Season 2 with the girly. Good stuff.
